A festival in Christchurch of street art by various artists presented by Oi YOU!

Oi YOU! presented the first Spectrum Street Art Festival in Christchurch from 14 February to 10 May 2015.

In partnership with the YMCA Christchurch, the festival was held at the YMCA's building at 12 Hereford Street, and on 10 walls throughout the city centre.

17 artists from New Zealand and overseas were involved, including the headline artists Adnate, Buff Monster, Tilt, Sofles, Dcypher, Flox, Jacob Yikes and Owen Dippie, each of whom produced a work of art inside the YMCA building and a mural in the city.

In 2013/14 Oi YOU! presented the RISE Street Art Festival which opened at Canterbury Museum on 20th December 2013 and ran until 23rd March 2014. The RISE Festival featured 3 exhibition spaces at the Museum and 15 painted walls across the city, and showcased Street Art from New Zealand and around the world (including a collection of Banksy works & memorabilia).

Oi YOU! was founded by George Shaw and Shannon Webster and is based around their collection of work by street artists which they began collecting in the UK before moving to New Zealand in 2009.
