Marshland Hall Roll of Honour - thirteenth portrait.

Caption

This frame shows the portraits of six Marshland men who had already departed for the front or for training camp.
It was unveiled in the Marshland Hall during a complimentary farewell social for Private Arthur Baker on Saturday
27 April 1918.

The portraits are:

  • Private Leo Mooney (63018)
  • Rifleman John Colin Campbell (48908) - Killed in action
  • Private Abraham Joseph Dobby (55450) - Killed in action
  • Private James McKee Crawford (60908)
  • Private Walter Myers (47172)
  • Private John Sharlick (68755)

*In early 2016 the Marshland Hall Trust handed over the remaining Roll of Honour portrait frames to the Christchurch memorial RSA on indefinite loan for safe keeping. Thanks to both institutions for permission to use this image.
