Flora ithe chair) and Otto (the ottoman) were created by Crack’d for Christchurch whose members gathered thousands of pieces fo broken china donated by the public following the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes to create artworks. Flora and Otto were “opened” in a small garden at 597 Colombo Street on 24 September 2014. The project was supported by Greening the Rubble, an organisation devoted to creating temporary public parks on small cleared sites.
