Entry in the 2009 Christchurch City Libraries Photo Hunt from the collection of Jan Shuttleworth.
This image was the overall winner in the 2009 competition. The judges felt that this photograph, also winner in the Peace & Remembrance category, encapsulated the spirit of a community's dedication to honouring those who served in times of conflict. Mr Shuttleworth also provided a number of other images of Akaroa for the 2009 POhoto Hunt.
