 Front view of Nathan Pohio's temporary work for SCAPE 8 from CambridgeTerrace looking across the Park of Remembrance to Oxford Terrace. 

The image was sourced from a 1905 image from the Canterbury Times & shows Maori leaders in full ceremonial dress with the then Governor -General, Lord Plunket and Lady Plunket on a vist to Kaiapoi.   " Sited in the Park of Remembrance it offers acknowledgement of the histories of Otautahi and the meetings of cultures along the Otakaro River."  - SCAPE 8 brochure.

SCAPE 8  Christchurch Public Art Biennial, New Intimacies, ran from 3 October to 15 November 2015 mixing new art works with existing legacy pieces around central Christchurch.
