 South Korean sister city garden at Halswell Quarry Park , 2001

Gardens representing each of Christchurch's sister cities  - Christchurch, U.K.,Songpa-Gu, South Korea, Adelaide,  Australia, Kurashiki, Japan, Gansu Province & Wuhan, China, Seattle, U.S.A. - were officially opened on 17 February 2001.  

Songpa-Gu in South Korea donated two handsome totem poles to mark the entrance to their garden.
